Summary Biography
Dr. Wulf Meinel is a Managing Director of Carlyle Europe Real Estate since 2001. He is responsible for the acquisition and management of properties in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and large parts of Central Europe. The current European real estate portfolio of Carlyle exceeds €6 billion. Dr. Meinel studied law in Bonn and Freiburg. He earned a Ph.D. in European law and an M.A. in social science from the University of Freiburg, Germany. As a lawyer he is admitted to the bar in Frankfurt/Main. Dr. Meinel has over 15 years of real estate professional experience as investment manager, banker and lawyer.
